Last night, I spent three hours at casualty because every time I breathed or moved my left arm, it felt like a combination of being stabbed, branded or being skinned.
It's pleurisy. Inflammation caused by an air pocket in the lung lining. Every time you move, it also moves the lung lining and it HURTS!! Apparently the air pocket is small, but mine is the size of a hand.
I shouldn't have gone. We'd already figured out what it was, but we wanted to check it out in case it was something to do with my heart... Problem is there is no real treatment beyond panadol and rest.
And I'm now housebound. And even then, bound only to the rooms with heating in them.
C'est la vie, c'est ma vie...

Before you criticise someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticise them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes!

It's not actually better. It went away with the nuke-like antibiotics, but now it's back in a different place... I suppose that's what I get for going outside before I'm well enough..
I should be fine though. All i have to do is not leave the house and keep warm. I have a feeling housesitting at a nice house with central heating might do the trick

Why do people keep telling me that? It's not like I normally forget to finish them or anything...
